The Remodeling the South team recently remodeled our living room. Our home was originally built in 1989 and it was time to update our living space to more current trends and taste. The design ideas and guidance were amazing. We removed our traditional marble fireplace surround and decoratively trimmed mantle. We replaced this outdated look with a stacked stone fireplace, raised stone hearth, and historic heart pine floating mantle. We also removed the dental molding and did a stacked crown molding throughout. The combination of the textures and complementary tones really refreshed our space. We love it!
